IN LOVING MEMORY OF MARIA CORNELIA KOOY * 1937 - 2007

After 69 years God decided to take Maria home for a rest. She passed away peacefully on February 22, 2007. For 22 years she worked alongside her children cleaning equipment, floors, bathrooms, offices, windows, dishes, you name it she did it! A hard worker, she never asked for anything in return. She absolutely loved coming to Kooy Brothers every Friday to spend time with her children and shoot the breeze with customers, who all knew her as "mom". Every week Kooy Brothers staff would look forward to her home-made rice krispie squares. A treat we'll all miss. Whether it be cooking a vast amount of fried onions without ever complaining, cutting thousands of buns, pickles and tomatos, or bringing great dutch treats, she never missed an Open House. A busy mother to 9 children, she always put her family first. Maria (Oma/Mom) touched so many people's lives, and we will all cherish the wonderful memories she leaves behind. At Kooy Brothers she will leave a huge hole, and will sadly missed.

Always in loving memory;
Lisa Marie Kooy was a large part of Kooy Brothers Lawn Equipment. Being the Marketing Manager for the company, Lisa worked tremendously hard to get this website looking beautiful, and she did meticulous work on all of Kooy Brothers advertisements. Lisa was a diligent worker, and never settled for anything less then perfection. Lisa will be truly missed by her father Bill, sister Sandra, and brothers Will and Brandon, who all work at Kooy Brothers, as well as the rest of the Kooy family and employees who worked along side her for many years.
